My hourly comics from yesterday. It’s already been 2 years since I participated.

I’m sure there’s a handpuppet like this on the market somewhere, I just haven’t found it yet.

Fun fact: unlike Captain Type O Negative over there, I get sick at the sight of my own blood. That means I’ve done my very best to avoid having to see it up close, be it in the open air or going through a tube into a plastic bag.
I haven’t fainted at the sight of it but I’ve had my blood pressure fall all of a sudden and things go black before my eyes for a moment. Very macho, I know.
Next week: a bit of filler art so I can catch up on thumbnailing the next chapter of the bird story.

In which I tell you why my god is better than yours. Or is it a work of satire in which the absurdity of one’s fundamental beliefs is called into question? Or maybe just an excuse to draw anthropomorphic cups.

This marks the end of our third chapter. That means we’re back to regular fun(ny) comics for the next few weeks and maybe a bit of filler stuff until I start the 4th and also final chapter.

After that I’m taking a couple of weeks to write and draw the final chapter. But I should have some filler art up every Wednesday until that starts up.

Following a bit of Twitter conversation with @CrowChick and @BloodyWilliam, I sketched their and my respective spirit animals. Because I’m an angry bastard at heart, mine is of course the Giant Squid of Anger.

And we’re back with a new chapter in our firebird saga. We’re going back in time for this one. The next update will be in 2 weeks, with the next 3 pages. I’ll probably post an illustration as filler next week.

You may remember me posting this on Twitter earlier this year. It’s a drawing I made for the wonderful Timothy Winchester’s Wizard Week. And wouldn’t you know, he’s also runs an Angela Lansbury Week every year. Check it out, I made a teapot.

I’ve been asked why I don’t say hi to people I know, when I pass them by on the street. What can I say, I’m just in my own little world when I’m walking. I wouldn’t even notice the zombie apocalypse, let alone someone waving at me. It’s nothing personal. Really.

Originally made for a collection of various other artists’ work that didn’t quite make it to publication. But maybe it will in some form or another one day. By which time I’ll probably make a whole new comic for it I think.
